SMS Text Banking Service

We may from time to time offer you the ability to enroll your accounts with us to receive SMS text message alerts, or we may provide you with special account notifications such as if we detect potential fraud on our account (the "Text Banking Service" or "Service"). The following terms and conditions apply to the Service, and also include instructions for how to use and cancel text messaging.

Reply HELP in response to a text message you've received from us or call us at 1-866-928-8598.

Reply STOP to any text message we send you and we will stop sending you text messages of the type that you are responding to.

Terms and Conditions

Your enrollment or use of our Text Banking Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions. We may amend these terms, and modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. Enrollment in the Service is not a guaranty that you will receive text messages from us, and we reserve the right to cancel some or all text alert elections applicable to your account, at any time.

You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. You agree that we may send you text messages to that number through your wireless provider.

Prior to enrollment in the Service, we will send a text message to your designated mobile number. To complete enrollment, you must confirm receipt of the text message from your device by following the instructions in that text message.

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for any text messages we send, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging that may be imposed by your wireless service provider. Check with your service provider for details on specific fees and charges that may apply.

Notify us immediately of any changes to your registered mobile phone or device including changes to your carrier service. In case of unauthorized access to your mobile phone or device, or our Service, you agree to cancel enrollment associated with the phone or device immediately.

You may change your eligibility to receive certain alerts from us by logging in to your online banking account: https://www.barclaycardus.com. In addition to replying STOP to the text messages you receive from us, you may also opt out of receiving text messages to your mobile device by calling us toll free at 1-866-928-8598.

You understand that balances provided may not include recent or pending transactions that have not yet posted to your account and that other restrictions may apply.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any third party claims, liability, damages or costs arising from your use of the Service or from you providing us with a phone number that is not your own.

You agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service; any errors in such information; any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service; or any disclosure of account information to third parties resulting from your use of the service. We will not be liable to you for special, indirect or consequential damages.
